Cian McCormack is a multi-award winning journalist.
He is radio reporter, mobile phone journalist and television video journalist with RTE (Ireland's National Broadcaster).
He mainly covers Irish affairs but has covered the US elections in 2016, 2012 and 2018.
His awards include:
IMRO / PPI News Reporter of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2011.
IMRO / PPI Sports story of the year 2013 for his coverage of the London Paralympic Games 2012.
Irish Media and Justice Award 2006.
Cian started as a print journalist in 1996 working as a staff reporter with the Nenagh Guardian and as a freelance reporter for the Tipperary Star, The Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Examiner, The Star, The Sun and The Mirror.
He has worked with RTE since 2004.
